We invite your network to an exclusive event designed for young women, ages 18-25, who are ready to learn about teamwork, perseverance, dedication towards an impactful career. The Golden State Valkyries, in partnership with the California Highway Patrol, are proud to launch "We Are Made For More," a unique community program. This event is a rare opportunity to get a first-hand look into the life of a CHP officer through an engaging and educational experience.
What you'll experience:
Mini Bootcamp Session: Led by CHP officers, guests will participate in a hands-on session to learn about the physical capabilities and training required to be an active officer. Guests will also receive practical preparation tools for the CHP Academy.
Empowerment Panel: Golden State Valkyries player #3, Laeticia Amihere, will join a panel discussion with law enforcement role models. They will share insights on mental strength, personal safety, and community values, emphasizing discipline, leadership, and resilience.
Networking: This is a chance to meet and connect with peers and professionals who can inspire young women to pursue a career in law enforcement.
