All Hands Ecology: Stewardship Apprentice
All Hands Ecology is looking for a Stewardship Apprentice! This is a six-month, full-time role with housing included from January–June 2026, based at the Martin Griffin Preserve near Bolinas and at preserves along Tomales Bay in western Marin County, California.
The Stewardship Apprentice program offers young people opportunities to gain hands-on experience caring for natural lands, learning habitat restoration techniques, and developing professional skills that prepare them for careers in conservation and park management.

Youth4SF Paid Winter Internship
Youth4SF is seeking new interns who are passionate about writing, research, advocacy, social media, and design. The open positions are Research Intern and Graphic Designer Intern for the upcoming winter term.
Research Intern: Interns will research and write informative explainers on civic engagement issues and advocacy opportunities related to youth. Key responsibilities include researching and compiling information for six social media explainers from December through February. The stipend for this position is $270.
Graphic Designer Intern: Interns will transform research and social media content into engaging graphics (explainers). Key responsibilities include designing twelve social media explainers from December through February. The stipend for this position is $300.
Applicants must be current high school students in San Francisco. The internship runs from mid-December to the end of February, and the application deadline is November 19, 2025.

ScholarMatch Destined for College San Francisco Program
Destined for College San Francisco (DCSF) is a free program from ScholarMatch that helps first-generation high school seniors in the San Francisco Bay Area prepare for college. Students work with virtual coaches to explore college options, complete applications, write personal statements, apply for scholarships, and understand financial aid. Eligible students must live in the SF Bay Area, have at least a 2.0 GPA, meet income guidelines, and be the first in their families to attend college. Students who meet program milestones are eligible to apply for the Scholars Program college scholarship and success program. The application for this year is now closed. Please check back in February 2026 for the next application cycle.

SEO Scholars Program
SEO Scholars Program is a free, eight-year academic scholarship and college success program that supports high school students to get to the top U.S. universities. The programs provide rigorous academic instruction, individualized guidance, and a supportive community of peers and mentors. In this program, students will attend three Saturdays a month, once a week after school, and for five weeks during the summer. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, be currently enrolled in a public high school, and come from families with an income below $135,000. The application requires report cards, proof of income, short written statements, and a teacher recommendation.
The application opens on September 1, with a priority deadline of October 24, 2025, and a final deadline of December 31, 2025.

Along the way, the individuals will receive one-on-one coaching, personalized job search support, and access to additional resources to ensure their success. Yerba Buena Gardens Conservancy Carousel Staff
Yerba Buena Gardens Conservancy is seeking new Carousel Staff. This is a part-time, on-call position that reports to the Services Manager of the Conservancy. This position helps create and build the synergies necessary for the Conservancy to thrive and succeed, both internally and externally, while exercising critical thinking. Some of the job responsibilities for this position include providing friendly and helpful service to guests, maintaining knowledge of current events taking place at YBGC, handling challenging situations with a high level of professionalism, and completing maintenance and cleaning tasks. The pay for this position is $24 per hour. Applicants must be 18 years old or older, have basic math skills, and be able to follow written instructions. Applicants should also have basic CPR certification and the ability to handle digital payments or cash transactions using a POS (Point of Sale) system. Applicants who are 18 or older and will supervise others must be fingerprinted and complete a Department of Justice (DOJ) background check before starting work.

Community Stewardship & Engagement Internships
The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy is currently recruiting new interns for its Community Stewardship & Engagement Team. The team is hiring two Community Engagement Interns, one Gardens Intern, and one Stewardship Intern. Each internship is a full-time, six month position that pays $32 per hour. Some key responsibilities include assisting with the planning and facilitation of volunteer and community programs, supporting the development and implementation of educational and interpretive activities, and tracking and reporting participant and program data. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and either a high school diploma or relevant work experience.
All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
The internship term runs from February through July.

CityBuild Academy Pre-apprenticeship program
CityBuild Academy is San Francisco’s premier 12-week pre-apprenticeship program, empowering local residents to launch successful careers in the city’s rapidly growing construction industry by combining hands-on training with a rigorous academic curriculum that provides the technical skills, industry knowledge, and real-world experience needed to excel. Through classroom instruction and on-the-job learning, the program equips students with marketable skills and a competitive edge, offering a strong pathway whether you’re entering the trades or advancing your career. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license with a three-year driving record, hold a high school diploma or GED, live in San Francisco, demonstrate 8th-grade–level proficiency on a basic skills test, and be able to lift 70 lbs. If you’re interested in applying, the first step is to sign up and attend a CityBuild Academy Informational Orientation, available in person and online via Zoom.
