  • Discover Swarthmore Fly-In Program

    Discover Swarthmore is a fly-in program for rising high school seniors in the United States, including U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and undocumented/DACA students. The program is designed to support students who may not be able to visit campus without financial assistance, particularly first-generation college students, low-income students, and students from rural or small towns. Selected students participate in a multi-day on-campus experience that includes meeting current students and professors, attending classes, dining on campus, and staying in college dormitories. All program-related expenses are covered by Swarthmore College. To be considered, students must complete an online application and submit their end-of-junior-year high school transcript.

    The application deadline is June 15, 2026.

  • Port of SF Rising T.I.D.E.S. Summer Internship Program

    The Rising T.I.D.E.S. (Rising Through Investment, Engagement, and Support) Intern and Mentorship Program at the Port of San Francisco is an internship opportunity for San Francisco residents ages 15–25, designed to introduce youth and young adults to careers in the maritime industry and other Port operations. Interns can explore fields such as Engineering, Real Estate Development, Finance, Legal, IT, and Maritime while gaining hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional skills. Job descriptions are available on the program website, and the application deadline is March 18, 2026.

  • California Academy of Sciences Careers in Science Internship

    Careers in Science (CiS) is a paid, multi-year internship for San Francisco high school students in 9th or 10th grade from underrepresented STEM communities. Interns must be full-time students with a minimum 2.5 GPA, authorized to work in the U.S., and able to commute to the Academy in Golden Gate Park, with access to high-speed internet for remote activities. Responsibilities include working 5–10 hours per week during the school year and 10–16 hours per week in the summer, attending New Intern Orientation (June 15–18, 2026), weekly summer trainings, biweekly school-year trainings, after-school and Saturday work, and a multi-day Spring Break trip. Applicants should demonstrate interest in science, research, and teaching, and the application deadline is April 1, 2026.

  • Acadia's summer internship program

    Acadia Pharmaceuticals offers a 10–12 week paid Summer Internship Program running from mid-June to late August 2026, providing students with hands-on experience in the life sciences industry. Interns can explore multiple fields including Research & Development (R&D), Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Corporate Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology (IT), and Manufacturing/Operations. This hybrid program requires a 40-hour work week with three days in the office and focuses on helping students build professional skills, strengthen their resumes, expand their networks, and contribute to meaningful projects. Selected candidates will complete 1–3 video interviews and a background check as part of the hiring process.

  • Japantown Navigators Supervisor

    Japantown Task Force seeks a part-time, paid Japantown Navigators Supervisor (8 hours/week, March 20–November 30, 2026, $25–$27/hour) to mentor high school or college students or seniors/retirees in the 2026 Cohort at the Japantown Cultural District Visitor Center (Japan Center East Mall). Responsibilities include supervising and coaching cohort members, managing schedules, conducting virtual/text check-ins, coordinating guest speakers, developing trainings, and completing weekly reports. Candidates must have 2+ years of relevant experience; experience with youth or seniors (preferably in underserved communities); proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google tools; strong communication, organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills; and demonstrated cultural sensitivity.   • Aveda Institute Scholarship

    The Aveda Institute San Francisco is offering a $6,000 scholarship to all Enterprise For Youth young people who enroll in the Cosmetology, Esthiology, or Barbering programs.

    The Aveda Institute, trains their students with the skills to thrive in the beauty industry while teaching environmental sustainability, creating a team of inspired, artistic, and prepared future beauty and wellness professionals.

  • ScholarMatch Destined for College San Francisco Program

    Destined for College San Francisco (DCSF) is a free program from ScholarMatch that helps first-generation high school seniors in the San Francisco Bay Area prepare for college. Students work with virtual coaches to explore college options, complete applications, write personal statements, apply for scholarships, and understand financial aid. Eligible students must live in the SF Bay Area, have at least a 2.0 GPA, meet income guidelines, and be the first in their families to attend college. Students who meet program milestones are eligible to apply for the Scholars Program college scholarship and success program. The application for this year is now closed. Please check back in February 2026 for the next application cycle.

  • Fracchia Prize

    This opportunity is open to San Francisco high school students and invites participants to respond to the prompt “Fighting for What’s Right” by researching and writing about a person or group who fought against injustice or wrongdoing to help make San Francisco a better, safer, and more inclusive city. Submissions must be original work (no borrowing others’ text or using extensive quotations), 1,200–1,600 words, and double-spaced, and will be judged on writing quality, engagement, topic choice, clear response to the prompt, accuracy, and theme development. Articles should be submitted as a PDF (preferred) and kept under 10MB; students must keep copies of their article and any associated image files in their original formats. Photography is optional and limited to three images.

    The top three winners will receive a cash prize. The current cycle is now open, and the deadline is April 12, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

  • Citizens Scholarship Sweepstakes

    The Citizens Bank Citizens Scholarship Sweepstakes is a scholarship opportunity that awards money to help students pay for college. It offers a $15,000 grand prize, $2,500 monthly prizes, and a $2,500 quarterly prize for students who meet the criteria for the Citizens Building the Workforce of the Future Scholarship. Applicants must be legal U.S. residents, 18 or older, and plan to enroll or be enrolled at least half-time in a college within one year. A parent or legal guardian may also apply on behalf of a student. To apply, students submit basic information such as their email, state of residence, school they plan to attend, and education level. The final application deadline is March 31, 2026 at 5:00 PM ET, and the final drawing is around April 5, 2026.

  • Citizens Bank College Raptor Scholarship

    The $2,500 College Raptor Scholarship, provided by Citizens Bank, is open to students 16 or older who are enrolled or plan to enroll in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program by Fall 2028 and are legal residents of the U.S., D.C., or U.S. Territories. To apply, students (or a parent/guardian if under 18) must register at CollegeRaptor.com, use the College Match tool, and submit a short, original essay in English. Applications are limited to one per person and must be submitted by March 31, 2026, at 1:59 PM Eastern Time. Essays must be written in English with correct spelling and grammar, and no new drafts can be submitted after entry. If under 18, applicants must have permission from a parent or legal guardian before submitting.

  • Merit America Internships

    Merit America offers flexible, fully virtual programs that help individuals gain the skills and support needed to move into higher-wage careers. They offer various job opportunities and training programs, including in-demand career tracks such as Cybersecurity, Human Resources, Project Management, UX Design, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Planning, and IT Support. Along the way, the individuals will receive one-on-one coaching, personalized job search support, and access to additional resources to ensure their success. On average, program completer see wage gains of more than $20,000 per year, creating real opportunities for lasting economic mobility.

  • Yerba Buena Gardens Conservancy Carousel Staff

    Yerba Buena Gardens Conservancy is seeking new Carousel Staff. This is a part-time, on-call position that reports to the Services Manager of the Conservancy. This position helps create and build the synergies necessary for the Conservancy to thrive and succeed, both internally and externally, while exercising critical thinking. Some of the job responsibilities for this position include providing friendly and helpful service to guests, maintaining knowledge of current events taking place at YBGC, handling challenging situations with a high level of professionalism, and completing maintenance and cleaning tasks. The pay for this position is $24 per hour. Applicants must be 18 years old or older, have basic math skills, and be able to follow written instructions. Applicants should also have basic CPR certification and the ability to handle digital payments or cash transactions using a POS (Point of Sale) system. Applicants who are 18 or older and will supervise others must be fingerprinted and complete a Department of Justice (DOJ) background check before starting work.

  • Community Stewardship & Engagement Internships

    The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy is currently recruiting new interns for its Community Stewardship & Engagement Team. The team is hiring two Community Engagement Interns, one Gardens Intern, and one Stewardship Intern. Each internship is a full-time, six month position that pays $32 per hour. Some key responsibilities include assisting with the planning and facilitation of volunteer and community programs, supporting the development and implementation of educational and interpretive activities, and tracking and reporting participant and program data. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and either a high school diploma or relevant work experience.

    All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

    The internship term runs from February through July.

  • CityBuild Academy Pre-apprenticeship program

    CityBuild Academy is San Francisco’s premier 12-week pre-apprenticeship program, empowering local residents to launch successful careers in the city’s rapidly growing construction industry by combining hands-on training with a rigorous academic curriculum that provides the technical skills, industry knowledge, and real-world experience needed to excel. Through classroom instruction and on-the-job learning, the program equips students with marketable skills and a competitive edge, offering a strong pathway whether you’re entering the trades or advancing your career. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license with a three-year driving record, hold a high school diploma or GED, live in San Francisco, demonstrate 8th-grade–level proficiency on a basic skills test, and be able to lift 70 lbs.

  • Giants Ballpark Operations Intern

    The Giants are seeking new interns for an onsite internship opportunityat Oracle park. Interns will gain hands-on experience supporting multiple departments, including Security, Maintenance, Grounds, Engineering, Event Services/Operations, and Guest Services Event Staff. This internship offers the opportunity to be part of an iconic sports organization and work in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

  • Giants 50/50 Raffle Team Member

    The Giants Community Fund is seeking reliable and enthusiastic individuals to serve as 50/50 Raffle Team Members during Giants home games. Team members work 4–5 hour shifts with a flexible schedule and are responsible for representing the Giants Community Fund in a professional manner and selling and distributing raffle tickets using an electronic handheld device. This role is a great opportunity to build customer service and sales skills. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and available to work a flexible schedule, including most Giants home games, nights, weekends, and holidays. Pay for this position is $19.18 per hour.

  • Obama-Chesky Voyager Scholarship

    The Obama-Chesky Voyager Scholarship supports students in their academic journey while providing a meaningful summer work-travel experience focused on public service and leadership development. Scholars commit to participating in monthly programming, including coaching sessions, network connections, and creating an actionable Summer Voyage plan. Participants are expected to demonstrate financial need, maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, and show a strong commitment to public service, community engagement, and building bridges across diverse communities. Voyagers are lifelong learners who take a collaborative, values-based approach to leadership and are eager to learn from and share experiences with others in a supportive cohort.

  • San Francisco Mayor’s Office Internship Program

    The San Francisco Mayor’s Office Internship Program is an unpaid, in-person opportunity at San Francisco City Hall that gives college students hands-on experience in local government. Interns work 10–20 hours per week for 8–12 weeks during the Spring, Summer, or Fall terms and support the Mayor’s team in areas such as communications, government and community affairs, policy research, and special projects. The program is open to up to six students per term who are currently enrolled at an accredited college or university (not open to high school students).

    The application deadline is March 31, 2026, and applicants will be notified by May 1, 2026.

  • Bank of America Student Leader Program

    The Bank of America Student Leaders Program is a paid 6-week summer opportunity (June–July 2026) requiring participants to complete a full-time (minimum 35 hours per week) nonprofit internship and attend a fully funded 3-day Leadership Summit (June 16–18, 2026). Applicants must be at least 18 years old; have earned a high school diploma or equivalent within the past 24 months; completed 12–18 post-secondary credits; be a student in good standing; legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship through July 2026; reside in an eligible location; demonstrate recent leadership and active community involvement; align their interests with the local internship market; rank in the top 20% of recommended applicants; provide a transcript, accomplishments overview, and two academic recommendations; and not be a previous Student Leaders participant, Bank of America employee, or immediate family member. The deadline to apply for this opportunity is March 9, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

  • Dropbox 2026 Summer Internships

    Dropbox offers a variety of remote and full-time summer internships across the U.S., Canada, Ireland, and Poland in fields such as Software Engineering, Content Design, CX Technical Content Design, Support Enablement Engineering, AI Solutions, Research & Insights, and CX Video Content Design. This program is open to undergraduate, master’s, and PhD students who are eager to learn, innovate, and make an impact. During the 12-week internship, participants will work on real projects that shape the future of Dropbox, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and receive mentorship and feedback to help define their next career steps.   • San Francisco Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee

    This apprenticeship provides hands-on training under a Journeyworker Electrician, performing tasks such as climbing ladders, scaffolds, poles, and towers; crawling and working in confined spaces like attics and manholes; crouching; and handling color-coded wiring indoors and outdoors. Apprentices must have mechanical ability, finger dexterity, and be able to read, hear, and follow instructions. Applicants must be 18+, U.S. citizens (or meet INS requirements), and reside in one of the nine Bay Area counties with proof of residence. Required documents include a photo ID, proof of high school completion (or equivalent) or a two-year Associate degree or higher, and evidence of Algebra, Calculus, or Trigonometry with a C grade or higher (one year of high school, one semester post-high school, or completion of the online Tech Math course at https://www.skillsprep.org/login/index.php

    Applicants must complete the online application, be able to safely perform job duties, attend classroom training, and travel to job sites. Pay starts at $37 per hour.   • Clinic by the Bay Volunteer

    Clinic by the Bay, is now looking for new volunteers! Volunteers are essential to the mission of Clinic by the Bay, providing compassionate, high-quality health care for low-income, uninsured adults while supporting meaningful civic engagement. This opportunity is open to individuals 18 years and older who can commit to at least six consecutive months, including two 4-hour shifts per month during the first three months of training, at least one shift per month after training, and three in-person training shifts. Volunteers must provide proof of a TB test within the last six months and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. No prior experience is required for roles such as reception, prescription assistance, and community outreach. Licensed medical providers and nurses must submit a valid California license, and providers must also agree to a background check.

  • Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Medical Center Volunteer

    Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Medical Center is seeking volunteers for patient-centered opportunities that support patients, families, and staff in the health and medical field, with a required 1-year commitment. Volunteers must be 16 years or older, available weekdays and/or weekends (daytime or evenings), and able to commit a few hours per week. Training, orientation, and a background check are required.
