Youth for Clean Air: Climate Trivia and Advocacy Pizza Party
SPUR is hosting a youth climate action event with the Bay Area Youth Climate Summit at the SPUR office in San Francisco. Students will have a chance to connect with peers from across the Bay Area, enjoy some free pizza, participate in climate and clean air trivia, and learn how to get involved in local advocacy around clean air policies. No prior experience is needed. We're hoping to make it a fun, welcoming space for both students already engaged in climate work and those just getting started.

Beginners Investing with Citizens
Join us for a “Level Up Your Money” investing workshop with Citizens at their San Francisco office, where you will learn how to move from saving to building wealth. This interactive session will introduce concepts like investing, compound growth, and how to make your money work for you over time.
This is a great opportunity to start thinking about your future goals and how investing can help you reach them!
The RealReal Site Visit
Join us for an exciting site visit to The RealReal in San Francisco, where you will get an inside look at the world of luxury resale and retail careers! You will tour a beautiful two floor store, learn how the business operates behind the scenes, and hear directly from a store manager about her career journey and path to success.
Students will also receive swag bags at the end of the visit.

Bloomberg Site Visit
This experience will introduce students to careers in technology, data, news, and finance, while connecting you with Bloomberg professionals who can help guide your career journey.
You will hear from recruiters and employees, join a career panel across multiple departments, ask questions, network with professionals over lunch, and tour Bloomberg’s newsroom and office space.

DCYF Summer Resource Fair
Attend the DCYF Summer Resource Fair!
The Summer Resource Fair is a free, family-friendly event hosted by the San Francisco Department of Children, Youth & Their Families (DCYF) in partnership with San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department and the San Francisco Public Library, connecting families with representatives from over 100 summer programs, camps, and youth services for students in grades K–8. Held annually for more than 20 years.

Fintech & Financial Literacy with Upgrade
November 12th from 4:00PM to 5:00PM
Come meet the Upgrade team as they visit our office to talk about financial literacy and share what it’s like to work in fintech. You’ll hear from panelists—including some who work in the legal side of finance and technology—and take part in small group discussions to learn about different career paths and how to manage your money wisely.
