Healthcare Program
Expanding access to high-demand healthcare careers in San Francisco
Healthcare has been the #1 field of interest among our youth for five years, while California faces a critical shortage in frontline and allied health roles. Expanding access to these careers also strengthens equity, as a more diverse workforce leads to better outcomes for the communities served.
Certification pathways provide immediate access to living-wage jobs, like Certified Nursing Assistants, earning ~$30/hour while creating long-term career mobility and increasing diversity in healthcare.

“Interning at Clinic by the Bay showed me the true meaning of community. I wasn’t just helping patients communicate — I was part
of a team that treated everyone with dignity and respect, and that experience inspired me to continue working in healthcare to uplift
my own community.”
-Geo, Clinic by the Bay Intern
