Data and Systems Manager

POSITION: Full-Time (Hybrid); based in downtown San Francisco with Tuesdays and Thursdays designated in-office days and additional in-person days as needed

COMPENSATION: $80,000 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package

ABOUT THE ROLE

Enterprise for Youth seeks a Data and Systems Manager to lead the organization’s data systems, evaluation processes, and reporting practices. This role will support strong program delivery, storytelling, grant compliance, and organizational decision-making by turning data into meaningful insights and recommendations.

The Data and Systems Manager will work closely with Program, Development, Communications, and Leadership teams to build and maintain dashboards, strengthen data quality, streamline systems and workflows, and train staff to effectively use data and technology.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Collection, Evaluation & Dashboards

  • Lead data collection and evaluation processes across programs.

  • Design and maintain dashboards for Program, Development, Communications, and Leadership teams.

  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

  • Translate findings into clear insights and recommendations.

  • Identify opportunities to replace manual reporting with more efficient systems.

Analysis & Reporting

  • Develop reports, visualizations, and recommendations for staff, leadership, funders, and external partners.

  • Support government, contract, and grant reporting.

  • Partner with Communications to use data for storytelling.

  • Facilitate regular staff data reviews.

Data Management

  • Maintain accurate participant, employer, supervisor, and program records in Salesforce.

  • Conduct regular data audits and maintain data quality standards.

  • Establish clear data definitions, documentation, and organizational processes.

  • Identify and resolve data issues with applicable team members.

Youth Feedback & Engagement

  • Facilitate youth focus groups and other feedback opportunities.

  • Help young people understand how their feedback informs EFY programs.

  • Support the development of alumni tracking and surveying systems.

  • Attend programming, events, and school-based activities as needed.

Systems Administration & Training

  • Serve as the primary administrator for Salesforce, Formstack, Google Workspace data tools, and other program technology platforms.

  • Build and improve systems supporting program applications, placements, and workflows.

  • Identify opportunities for automation and streamlined reporting.

  • Train staff on Salesforce, Formstack, reporting tools, data practices, and workflows.

  • Create documentation and standards to support consistent use of systems.

  • Supervise at least one part-time Program Assistant supporting data-related projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5–8 years of progressive experience in data management and systems administration.

  • Experience administering CRM or database systems; Salesforce strongly preferred.

  • Experience with form-building platforms such as Formstack.

  • Experience with at least one data visualization tool such as Tableau, Power BI, UpMetrics, or Looker Studio.

  • Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets and/or Excel.

  • Demonstrated experience building dashboards and reports for different audiences.

  • Experience with data imports, exports, integrations, and system configuration.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Experience in youth workforce development, education, internships, career readiness, or nonprofit programming preferred.
